A Ghanaian hiplife artist and Rapper, Emmanuel Kofi Botwe, known by his stage name Kwaw Kese and popularly called Abodam, is mourning the demise of his mother.
He announced the passing of his mother, popularly called Yaa Serwaa on his X on February 26, 2025.
“Lost my mom today, sad day,” he wrote, accompanied by a crying emoji.
While Kwaw Kese did not disclose the cause of death, the news has deeply affected some fans and his colleagues in the music industry.
Social media has been flooded with messages of condolence and support from fans, who have expressed their sympathy to the rapper and his family.
Kwaw Kwese is one of Ghana’s most celebrated rappers known for his influence on the street.
Even though he has not really exposed his mom to the public during her life on earth, she is known to a myriad of his fans.
