The Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Hon. Frank Yeboah, has mounted a strong appeal to members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to rise above internal differences and unite behind Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party charts a path toward victory in the 2028 general election.
Speaking on the need for cohesion within the party, Hon. Yeboah emphasized that unity remains the NPP’s greatest asset, warning that disunity could undermine the party’s chances of retaining power. He noted that while internal contests may come with tension, the true test of party loyalty is the ability to regroup and work together after the process.
According to the lawmaker, the 2028 election will be won not by individual ambition but through collective commitment, discipline, and teamwork. He therefore urged delegates, executives, and grassroots supporters to throw their full support behind the party’s flagbearer and focus on the bigger picture.
Hon. Yeboah also sent a clear message to aspirants who were unsuccessful in the contest, calling on them to accept the outcome in good faith and contribute meaningfully to the party’s campaign. He described unity among leaders as a powerful signal that would boost confidence among supporters and the general electorate.
He expressed confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, describing him as a candidate with the vision, experience, and competence to lead the NPP into the next phase of national development.
Hon. Frank Yeboah concluded by urging party faithful across the country to remain peaceful, energized, and committed, stressing that a united NPP remains a formidable force capable of winning the trust of Ghanaians in 2028.
