Hiplife Icon Guru Disqualified From University of Ghana SRC Presidential Race

Ghanaian rapper Maradona Adjei Yeboah, popularly known as Guru has been disqualified from contesting in the presidential race of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) at the University of Ghana.

The popular rapper and his running mate Lawrence Edinam Egleh were disqualified by the Vetting Committee of the UG SRC due to their non-residential status.

Before his disqualification, Guru was leading the University’s Online Poll.

The ”Pooley” rapper was hoping to lead the student body of the University after Samini led the SRC at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA)
