Alan Can’t Poll Even 1% Of Votes Because Kufuor Has Rejected Him – NPP Chairman

The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party ( NPP) Washington DC Chapter, Janis Asare has said that former party member, Alan Kyeremanten will not even poll 1% votes in the Asante Region in the upcoming elections.

It would be recalled that Alan Kyeremanten made headlines after he resigned from the NPP to form the Movement for Change a few months ago.

During a discussion on Egyaso Gyaso on Okay FM, the NPP Chairman disclosed that the father of the party, John Agyekum Kufuor has rejected Alan Kyeremanten and has thrown his support behind Dr Bawumia.

According to him, Alan Kyeremanten had the numbers during the time he contested Nana Addo in the 2000s because of the support he got from Kufuor.

He added that the numbers and support for Alan Kyeremanten have gradually diminished after Kufuor endorsed Dr. Bawumia.

“When you look at the trajectory of Alan’s support, it is always going down. From the peak when he started contesting Nana Addo up till today, the numbers are going down. When you are bringing the Alan factor, his dominion was based on Kufuor’s fashion and that’s the reality.

And for Kufuor to endorse Dr Bawumia means Alan won’t win in the Asante region. And I can assure you that Alan won’t get 1% in the Ashanti Region”, he stated.
