Popular Ghanaian musician Mzbel has been struck by a tragic loss as her mother has passed away.
The incident is believed to have occurred on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
Mzbel made the heartbreaking announcement through a post on her social media accounts, sharing never-seen-before photos of her mother.
She accompanied the photos with the poignant caption, “Rest in power, mummy.”
Mzbel had lost her father, Mr Albert Amoah two years ago.
Fans and well-wishers have been expressing their condolences and support for the musician during this difficult time.
The songstress is known for her hit songs such as E Dey Be, Awoso Me, 16 Years, Asibolanga, Fufu Funu, Run Away among others.
Mzbel is also the CEO of Mzbel Music, Bel Group, Bel Eye Media and others. Mzbel is also a radio presenter and an actor, having appeared in several movies. She is a global ambassador for people with disability.
